For the benefit of all newly ar-
rived personnel on the NATO base,
the Tour Office would like to
familiarize you with some of the
services that they offer.
RESERVATIONS
In connection with commercial
flights from Iceland, the Tour Of-
fice can book airline reservations
within the states. Those flying
to the states on the C-118 or
rotator may buy an "Open Ticket"
for stateside travel. "Open
Tickets do not reserve a seat on a
certain flight. However, when you
check in at a stateside terminal
they will acknowledge that you have
paid your airfare and book you on
the first available flight. By
buying an "Open Ticket" through the
Tour Office you eliminate oaying
U.S. taxes.
Family Information School set
The second class of the Navy
Family Information School will be
conducted at Bldg. T-170 from Jan.
9 to 11. The following is a sched-
ule of events:
DAY I (Jan. 9) from 7 to 10
p.m.: Legal brief on wills, insur-
ance, federal and state income tax-
es, family budget planning, and
other useful information.
DAY II (Jan. 10) from 7 to 10

Roger and Janet Stonbraker, was born
Dec. 11 at 3:06 p.m. Petty Officer
Stonbraker is with the Naval Commun-
ications Station, Tech. Control.
Cameron Joseph Jolley was born
Dec. 15 at 2:28 a.m. He is the son
of Lt. Robert K. and Cheryl M. Jol-
ley. Lt. Jolley is a member of the
Dental Department.
Akidra Jamese Floren Peeples,
daughter of Richard and Alverna E.
Peeples, vas born Dec. 17 at 4:46
p.m. SSgt. Peeples is attached to
57 F.I.S.
Samuel Newton Caldwell Hunter
was born Dec. 19 at 12:04 p.m. He
is the son of HM2 Randall K. and
Merinda C. Hunter. Petty Officer
Hunter works for Medical.
Elisabeth Anne Strunk, daughter
of Sgt. Douglas K. and Brenda C.
Strunk, was born Dec. 22 at 3:28
p.m. : Naval Station Career Counsel-

Four Wheelers
meeting topic
The Rocky Road Four Wheelers
will be presenting a film and talk
concerning hypothermia on Jan. 9,
at 8 p.m. in the Community Center.

exposure, and can affect outdoor
recreationalists any time, any
place.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS
Along with making flight reser-
vations, the Tour Office can also
book Hotel accomodations for you.
With the help of their "World Hotel
Guide" they are able to fami.i iarize
you with your lodging and give you
approximate prices. They also offer
discounts on some accomodations
available in Iceland.
Traffic pattern
changes Tue
A new traffic pattern will be
placed into effect at noon, on
Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the intersec-
tion between housing unit 950 (near
the Commissary) and the new Comjj^H
munity Center. Vehicular traff^JJ
coming up the hill from the new
housing area, past the Community
Center, will have the right-of-way
at the intersection at the top of
the hill. Vehicular traffic ap-
proaching the intersection from the
Top of the Rock, or housing unit
960, must yield the right-of-way
at the intersection.
