The score of that game was not avail- able at press time. Complete de- tails will appear in next week's edition of the White Falcon. The High School made it to the finals with wins over AIMD, NCS and AFI as well as a bye in their first post-season game. The 960th AWACSS traveled a more roundabout route to the finals. They won their opening game against the Admirals but were defeated by AFI and forced into the losers bracket. From there they defeated the Admirals again and won a place in the championship game with a big victory over Admin. The NATO team ex- ploded for 107 points behind the strong performances of Leon Parker and Lou Duvis who netted 33 and 16 points re- spectively. The 107-67 win was due to a total team ef- fort which saw five players score In double figures. An invitational tournament involving seven Icelandic teams and the NATO team begins tomorrow and will continue until Friday. Come out and suo- port your NATO team as thev vip for the chamoionship. (Photo bv George Piercel Hot Rocks pace International league The NSGA "Hot Rocks" remained in first place of the International League with a 3-1 win over Admin as Intramural Bowling action con- tinued at the Arctic Lanes. In other International League action the Marines and NavFac rolled to a 2-2 tie. Gary Basil paced the Marines with a 533 series. Dennis Bode's 503 led Grindavik to a 3-1 decision over Public Works; NWSED and AFI tied 2-2 as Harry Evans, Bob Plante and Tony King each rolled 500 series for their respective teams. NSGA#2 defeated Det. 14 3-1 despite Jim Kyne's 217 and 542. Turning to National League play, Lou Dixon's 582 helped the Supply Chiefs to a 2-2 decision with Navy Exchange. Dental shutout Supply 4-0 behind Ken Lee's 535; Jerry Dretsch paced the OpCon Chiefs to a 3-1 victory over ComFairKef with a 541. ComSta Admin defeated Medical 4-0; the 57th FIS Good Guys beat Recreation 3-1 despite Bert Quintans 541. The IDF Chiefs lost 3-1 to AFI as Don Wills and Tom Flowers rolled a 507 and 210 re- spectively. In American League play, the 960th AWACSS and the Commissary battled to a 2-2 tie. Five bowlers rolled 500 series in that match, with John Wright's 576 pacing the group. Food Service defeated Nav- CommSta 3-1 and VP-23 lost to Nav- Fac 3-1. Phil Blauvelt's 518 and Bob Godin's 501 paced NavFac to the win. NBS downed AIMD 4-0, while the 57th FIS, led by Jim Austin's 504, scored a 3-1 victory over IDF. And AFI behind Bruce Michaelson's 630 and Ronnie Brown's 500 shutout Comptroller 4-0. In remaining American League action, AirOps, IceComlce and Supply shutout the Black Nights, CFK and Public Works respectively. Dan Shea's 569 led Comptroller to a 3-1 decision over AIMD; CommSta NRK downed Club Management 3-1 with Greg Loss (559), Bill Mathews (545) and Doug Drewry (510) pacing the win. Walter Hacketstaller rolled a 508 for Club Management. And the Marines #2 defeated Det. 360 3-1.
