The gym will be offering another
preschool swimming class that will
begin Monday and will run to Nov.
17. The registration began Wednes-
day, so hurry and sign up and pay
the $10 fee at the gym before class
on Monday.
A basketball clinic will be held
on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. in the lower
school, room 16. All coaches and
prospective officials are requested
to attend.
Come out and support your NATO
Basketball team. Games will be an-
nounced on channel 5.
The new locker policy no longer
requires a $1 deposit for daily
rentals. If a key is not returned
•the same day it is issued, a $10
fine will be charged. This fine
must be paid before another locker
will be rented.
OTES
You may now reserve 4 of the
basketball court for team practice.
Please make reservations in person
at the gym- NO reservations by
phone! Only 1 hour per week for
each team may be reserved.
Children/Adult Karate classes
are being offered. The classes
meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
There is a monthly fee of $10.
Register and pay the fee Monday -
Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call

Both a men and women's racquet-
ball league will begin Nov. 12.
There will be a coaches meeting
for each; men Oct. 29, and women
Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
The junior bowling program is
always in need of bowlers. Inter-
ested youths should contact Mike
Luce at 4249 or Phil Blauvelt at
7852.
Ceramic classes
The Hobby Center is offering
weekly classes in beginning ceramic
painting and advanced ceramic tech-
niques .
The six-week beginning ceramic
class begins Oct. 31. It is the
last beginner's course offered in
1979.
The Advanced ceramic techniques
course is broken into three stages:
clay lifting and scraffito on Mon-
day; mold adaptation; and stain
painting on Oct. 29. Oriental Jade
technique will begin Nov. 7.
Sports banquet set
The Sports Awards Banquet is
scheduled for Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at
the Officer's Club. Awards will
be given to all teams who placed
in the following sports: men and
women's Spring Volleyball, men and
women's Softball, Golf, Summer
Basketball, Summer Racquetball,
Flag Football and the Racquetball
Ladder.
