TODAY
LUNCH: Clam chowder, poached or fried Icelandic
fish, potatoes, stewed tomatoes, mustard greens
and cole slaw.
DINNER: Beef barley soup, grilled pork slices,
London broil steak, natural sauce, rice, Creole
lima beans and carrots.
SATURDAY
BREAKFAST: Assorted fruit, assorted fruit juice,
fried eggs to order, western omelets, fried bacon
slices, grilled sausage, broiled ham steaks, hash
browns, hominy grits and French toast.
BRUNCH: In addition to breakfast items: Cream
pea soup, sloppy Joe on bun and French fried
potatoes.
DINNER: Corn chowder, Southern fried chicken,
mashed potatoes, com bread dressing, Creole
wax beans and spinach.
SUNDAY
BREAKFAST: Assorted fruit, assorted fruit juice,
fried eggs to order, tomato and cheese omelets,
fried bacon slices, grilled sausage patties,
griddle cakes, hash browns and hominy grits.

What do you do with 130 youngsters around
Christmas time? Sue Prachniak, the President of
the CommSta Wives' Club says, "We're going to
have a party."
The children's Christmas party will be held in
the O'Club ballroom December 21st. The club is
selling chili dogs and/or baked goods each day to
raise money for the event. This event is for
children of CommSta personnel. Their parents are
also invited to attend.
The Recreation Department Youth Center
strives to provide a wholesome atmosphere for
all NATO base youth. We wish to expand our
present program to include the following pro-
grams: Art and preschool gymnastics. Anyone
interested and capable of teaching the pro-
grams please contact the Youth Center director
at 7508.
Monday—Arts and Crafts: We've just received a
new shipment of crafts Including musical instru-
ments, key chains, mobiles and many more. Join
us on Monday's and make some of your Christmas
gifts. "Challenge the Champ" continues for 5th
and 6th graders.
Tuesday—Kindergarten through grade two will be
actively involved in a game of "Kickball" while
the third and fourth graders challenge their
peers in a "Bumper Pool Contest." Fifth and
sixth graders will have a class in "Leather
Craft." Board games are on the agenda for
kindergarten through grade four.
Wednesday—All ages will enjoy a fun filled ex-
citing day. Kindergarten through grade two will
participate in a "Mystery Scavenger Hunt" and
fifth and sixth graders will swim at the Base
pool. Third and Fourth graders will make unique
Thanksgiving cards for family and friends.

Thursday—Thanksgiving, Closed.
Friday—Our "Special Theme Disco" for youth
grades seven through age 19. This promise to be
a very unique and exciting dance. Come and see!

Opening tip-off
The Youth Center Basketball League got underway
Veteran's Day when the referee tossed the bal1 up
for the opening jumb off. Team #1 played team #2

TOUR OFFICE
The Tour Office is offering a London Thanks-
giving Tour November 27 through 29. This package
Includes airfare, hotel accommodations and
English Breakfast.

SYMPHONY
The sixth performance of the Icelandic
Symphony Orchestra will be held December 4. The
conductor will be Woldemar Nelson and the pianist
Shura Cherkassky.
The program will Include: Tschaikovsky -
Piano Concerto #1, Nutcracker Suite and 1812
Overture.
Tickets will be available at the Tour Office
beginning Monday. Bus transportation will also
be provided for those interested and seats will
have to be booked at the same time tickets for the
symphony are purchased.

SCHOLARSHIP
Dependent children of members or former
members of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast
Guard may apply for the 1981 Dependent's
Scholarship Program. The scholarships are
awarded for educational purposes beyond the
high school level. They are awarded on the basis
of scholastic merit, character, and financial
need. Application deadline for the 1981
Dependent's Scholarship Program is March 15,
