season results
The 1983 Baseball and Tee-Ball season
came to a close September 17 with the awards
ceremony and luncheon held at the Wind-
breaker Club. The teams placed as follows:
The Phillies took first place. They are
coached by Oscar Gonzalez and William Gwinn
and sponsored by the Officers Wives Club
and the Teletype Repair Shop. Members of
the team are Robin Ferrell, Jeff Hall, Ad-
rian Sausedo, Jon Mathy, Brent Ezzell , Rob-
bie SiHoway, Douglas Gwinn, David Boyd,
Kris Schwenke, Fred Browning, Kim Harris,
and Brian Harris.
The Blue Jays finished second. Their
coaches were Don Garrity and Mike Nyers.
They were sponsored by Commander Fleet Air
Keflavik and the team members include David
Pezko, Todd Bishop, Robert Eggleston, Ja-
son Walder, Jason Baker, Mike Simpkins,
Mike Eggleston, Donnie Garrity, Mark Rey-
nolds and Roy Meyers.
The Indians took third place. They were
coached by Elza McFarland, Bruce Jacobsen,
and Fred Grant. They were sponsored by
KCP0A. Their team includes Jeff Coke,
Roger Cross, Dennis Lewey, Randy Lewey, Al-
lison Fahland, Freddy Keith, Edward Keller,
Brian Thomas, Peter Alsen, Barry Moore,

In Tee-Ball the Expo's took first place.

7-10 split converted
during league play
A spectacular feat of skill was witness-
ed last Monday night during North Atlantic
Intramural league competition. Marlin Shaw
of the 57th FIS made a dramatic conversion
of a 7-10 split. He converted the split by
knocking the 7 pin across the back of the
lane, coming off the right sideboard, graz-
ing the 10 pin just enough to make it wob-
ble. Then after a couple of seconds, the
pin finally fell prone on the lanes. Con-
gratulations to Marlin Shaw.
