In a game entitled, "Old Timers," the players
certainly didn't play that way. The enlisted
took top honors in the basketball game with a
narrow but decisive victory over the officers,
38-37. The game was played in support of the
Navy's Birthday. Leading scorers: Enlisted, Oli-
vier 16, Hicks-9; Officers, Wilson 17, Hall 15.
Under cloudy skies, bikers from the NATO Base
road 22 miles in support of the Navy's Birthday.
Winners in the 22 mile bike race were: Michael Fox
with a time of 1:13:12; second place was Kjartan
of Keflavik with a time of 1:22:16; and third
place was Leroy Willis with a time of 1:23:09.

- Results of the 10-K Fun Run
and 2 Mile were: Michael Fox of
Det 14 who set a new NATO Base
record with a time of 31:57, in
the Men's Div., - Richard Corbin
finished Second with a time of
34:41. In the Women's Div., it
was Lori Cochrane in First Place
with a time of 44:47, followed
by Joanie Christensen with a
time of 44:54. Paul Williams
finished with a time of 52:57 in
the Masters Div., of the 10-K.
In the Mens 2 Mile it was Dave
Adkins with a time of 11:25,
followed by Marvin Henry with a
time of 11:49. In the Women's
2 Mile, it was Hilda D'Amico
with a time of 15:11, followed
by Andrea Ufema with a time of
17:19. In the Children's 2 Mile
Dennis Clark finished with a
time of 12:47, followed by Chad
Helgeson, timed at 14:57.
- There will be a meeting of
the Athletic Representatives on
5 Nov at 1500 in the NavSta Con-
ference Room to verify Admiral
Cup standings.

Down the lanes
The Keflavik mens bowling as-
sociation is sponsoring a mens
handicap tournament at Arctic
Lanes tomorrow. Signups begin at
5:15 with bowling commencing at
6:00 p.m.
Entry blanks are now available
at Arctic Lanes for the annual
handicapmixed bowling tournament
to be held November 17th & 18th.
Entries close at 2 p.m. on Nov-
ember 11th. Fees can be paid to
any KMBA or KWBA director.
