Fund raisers
The Ice and Fire Theatre
Group is going to have some fund
raisers during the month of May.
The first is a Bake Sale, tomor-
row from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
the Navy Exchange Lobby. On May
11 there will_be a Car Wash.
Your cars, trucks and vans will
be scrubbed to shining at the
Public Works Washi^ack from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for nominal
fees. Then there will be
another Bake Sale on May 18,
again at the NEX Lobby from 10
а. m. to 4 p.m. Go and support
the base Theatre Group so they
can earn money for more musi-
cals, comedies and tragedies.
USO’s May calendar
The USO has many things going
on during May. Things you can
sign up for now are:
Icelandic Conversation: May
б, Monday and Wednesday nights,
from 6 to 8 p.m., $25.
Icelandic Knitting, Beginning
and Advnaced: May 7, Tuesday
evenings at 7:30 p.m.
Gulfoss Tour: May 4, from
9 a.m. to 7 p.m., bring sack
lunch, $15.
Reykjavik Shopping Trips:
Every Tuesday and Thursday, from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., schedule flex-
able, $7.
Craft Bazaar: May 25, from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m., large and
small tables available.
Memorial Day Cookout: May
27 from 11 p.m. to 5 p.m. Com-
mands can now sign up for the
Tug of War Contest, Beautiful
Legs Contest (men only please)
and the pie eating contest.
Other May highlights are:
May 6: Nurses Appreciation
Day.
May 10: Lip Synch Contest
#3 at the Top of the Rock at 9
p.m. Open to all hands during
the contest.
May 12: D0D Show featuring
"Two Bucks and Change." A
country western pop group. Time
is at 2 p.m.
May 25: Craft Bazaar and
Fitness Fair from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.
May 27: USO's Annual Memor-
ial Day Cookout.

ternational airport here April
10.

(OWC) members and their guests

will be holding a Computer Open
House on May 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.
at the Navy Campus Office, lo-
cated in the Viking Mall. In-
