Jr. Military Member of the Quarter

The Junior Military Member of the Quarter (for
ranks E-l through E-3), for the period ending in
September, is Airman First Class Vertis L. John-
son of the 667TH Aircraft Control and Warning
Squadron at Hofn, Iceland.
Originally from Topeka, Kansas, A1C Johnson is
now responsible for the operation of the unit or-
derly room and executive support functions. She
also assumed full responsibility for her unit
mail room since her arrival at Hofn in July of
this year. According to Maj. R. L. Lippincott,
Commander of the 667TH, this is a rare achievement

Vertis1 off-duty hours are busy ones too. She
has earned 30 semester hours credit towards a
degree in Business Administration, specializing in
data automation. This is in addition to conduct-
ing bi-weekly aerobic exercise class in the Hofn
gym. This class is well attended by women of the
town of Hofn, promoting cordial relations with the
local community.
A1C Johnson comes highly recommended for the
recognition that the MM0Q award brings. During
