The White Falcon readership
survey has been completed and
the results are being tabulated.
The response was gratifying,
more forms were returned than
expected. Many of you had con-
structive comments and critism
of the newspaper, some of those
remarks will be printed on this
page over the next few weeks with
our response. For example'*
Comment: Why isn't there more
information about Iceland in The
White Falcon ?
Answer: As you know we have a
weekly feature about Iceland and
Icelandic Culture. We also regu-
larly print feature stories on
Icelandic holidays, cutoms and
cultrual events. Many readers
have requested more information
on our host nation and we expect
to increase that area with news on
Iceland and perhaps a weekly fea-
ture on the language, such as a
"Phase-of-the-Week".
Personal Perspective^^^^^™““
If you were the Commanding Officer for a day, what one thing would you change?
Lance CdI. Jeff
Burneatt — I would let
all military members talk
to each other man to
man, women to women,
with no brass.
JQ5 Quintin D, Lvton
— i would do away with
barracks watches,
because I think it's
unnecessary for adults to
baby-sit other adults.
They should be
responsible enough to
take care of things for
themselves.
Sqt. Dean Christiansen
— 1 would change the way
the physical activities are
run on the base. I would
incorporate new games
and sporting events for
kids and adults. ! would
also ease up the strangle
hold the gym has on the
military members.
Debbi hadill — I would
change the mound of
earth behind the Viking
Mall into a park or flower
garden so I would have
some place to go with the
kids during the day.
