 1 1 aUJEii Chapel of Light piano concert Mr. Martin Berkofsky played in a concert at the Chape! of L ight recently. Mr. Berkofsky, a native of Washington, D. C., studied under the tutelage of such music greats as Mieczys law Munz, Konrad Wolff and Richard Hauser. His wife, Anna MaIfridur Sigurdardottir, who was also featured, was born in Isafjordur, where she began studying music when she was six. She studied under Ragnar H. Ragnar and at the Guildhall School of Music andDrama in London with Mrs. Bridget Wild. They were beaten out of their try for a third consective championship by Edzell, Scotland's NSGA team twice, 4-3 and 5-4. Coach Phil Ryan said, "The two things that took us out of it were some critical errors in the outfield and we didn't hit the ball the way we should have. “ Frenchy BuBais and Randy Raid, were selected to the Northern European Softball All-Star Team. "However, there will be some changes in the outfield and other key positions on the field before we leave for the National Softball Association World Series "D" Class Slow Pitch Semifinals at Zanesville, Ohio, on Aug 28 thru Sept 2," stated Ryan. Ryan also added, "This is the first time that any military softball team will play at Zanesville.
