Graduation ceremonies were recently held for 43
students receiving their Bachelors or Associate
degrees. The guest speakers were Capt. Peter
Baxter and Col. Charles Finch.

The NATO Base will be celebrating
Independence Day on Saturday, July
4, with various activities and events,
including a carnival with games, food
and entertainment. There will also
be athlettc events, static displays,
and tours of NATO ships in Reykjavik.
Any command, department, or
organization wishing to sponsor a
booth at the carnival, which will be
in Hangar 885 from 11:30 a.m. until
5:30 p. m., should complete the form
shown and submit it to Lt. Thurber's
office (NAS code 16B), by June 1Z.

Sponsor requirements: - Furnish and install booth decorations and signs.
- Furnish tables, chairs, trash container and any other
operating equipment.
- Determine costs (for sales), both in US and Kronur
- Provide change in both currencies
