Scottish Tunss at Sndroms Theater
A concert featuring traditional Scottish military and dance
music, performed by pipers, dancers and musicians of the Royal
Air Force, will take place tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Andrews
Theater. Admission Is free.
Each year, in honor of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns,
Commander, Fleet Air Keflavik hosts 120 Squadron of the Royal
Air Force to a “Burns Weekend Birthday" celebration aboard the
Naval Air Station. This year's festivities will be held today,
tomorrow and Sunday, marking the 18th annual celebration that
cements the professional ties between two maritime patrol
operational commands. 120 Squadron is based at RAF Kinloss,
Scotland.
Although limited seating restricts the number of attendees at
the Burns Supper to be held tomorrow evening, the concert is
open to all NATO Base residents, employees and their guests.
The performance will last approximately one hour and should be
particularly enjoyable for children and adults alike.
