iDSEH OF ALCOHOLICS) SUPPORT GROUP - (Wednesdays, 1145-
1215) This is a weekly support group for individuals who were raised by
alcoholic or drug-addicted parents or those who lived with compulsive
behaviors such as gambling, eating disorders, chronic illness, or mental
illness. By sharing experiences, members increase self-awareness, reduce
feelings of isolation, and provide support and encouragement to change
dysfunctional patterns of behavior.
DIYORCE SUPPORT GROUP - (13, 27 March. 1B30-2030) The FSC is offering a
support group for all men and women who are trying to rebuild their lives
after the breakup of a long-term relationship. You can ease the pain and
adjust for the future by talking over your experiences with others who've
been there. We'll talk about issues such as loneliness, grief,
self-concept, trust, sexuality, single parenthood, etc.
IWTESTMEHTS - (6 March, 1900-2000) Mr. Chuck Cooper, a financial expert,
will present this program. He will discuss the pros and cons of mutual
funds, savings bonds, stocks, and IRAs. This workshop is aimed at those
beginning an investment plan.
HETHERL&HPS TBEKKIMG AND EML PAPERWORK - (7 March, 1830-2000) The
Netherlands are the newest destination for EML flights from Iceland. Come
to this workshop, and we'll tell you what to see and do once you arrive
in Holland. A representative from Air Ops will also explain how to use
your EML entitlements.

REAL ESTATE - (19 March, 1900-2100) This is an introductory seminar with
emphasis on the YA loan. The rules on qualifying, financing, and making
settlement using a YA loan have greatly changed in the last few years.
Mrs. Betty Perkins, a licensed real estate agent, returns to conduct
this seminar. Come and learn how to prepare yourself to buy a home in
the States'
SINGLE PARENTS - (6 March, 1200-1300) Single parenting in the military
has some unique challenges. The Single Parents Group gives you an
opportunity to share concerns and ideas with others who are parenting
alone. Peanut butter, jelly, and bread will be provided so you can make
your own PBJs.
SMOKING CESSATION - (16, 23 March, 1200-1300; 30 March, 1800-1900)
Social Actions and CAAC co-sponsor this course which is open to anyone
who has a sincere desire to give up any form of tobacco. It is based on
the American Cancer Society's Fresh Start Program, but also incorporates
education, support, and nicorette gum. This is a four-part series that
concludes in April.

STRESS AND TOUR BODY - (22 March, 1830-2030) During this workshop we
will define stress and explain how stress manifests itself in your body.
Simple methods to compensate for the physical aspects of stress are
taught.

have no itemized deductions; your filing status is single, married filing
jointly, married filing separately, head of household, or a qualifying
widow with a dependent child; your taxable income is less than 150,000;
and your source of income is from wages, salaries, tips, taxable
scholarships or fellowships, interest dividends, or unemployment. This
class is limited to 10 participants.
COMPLETING THE 1040 EZ - (1, 21 March, 1200-1300; 12, 20 March, 1830-
1930) Attend this session if your filing status is single, you have no
dependents, you are under age 65 and not blind, your taxable income is
less than 150,000, and your total earned interest is less than 1400.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - (14 March, 1200-1300) Getting off base without a
car is easier than it nay seem. This workshop will teach you how to use
the public transportation system to visit Reykjavik and how to get around
once you are there. Bus schedules and price lists will be distributed.
TRAYEL SAFETY IN ICELAND - (28 March, 1200-1300) As the days grow
longer, we will be getting off the base more to experience the beauty of
Iceland. However, there are still potential dangers associated with
weather conditions and glacier run-offs. Don’t be caught unaware—be
prepared.

CAREER CHOICES - (14, 21 March, 1B30-2030) Establishing or changing
careers can be both exciting and confusing. A career choice should be
carefully considered and planned. This workshop will stimulate and aid
your thinking in initiating your career changes and decisions. If you're
contemplating a career move or are getting ready to separate or retire
from military service, this program is a must. Please plan on attending
both sessions of this workshop.
SPOPSE EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SEA?) - (1, 8, 15, 22 March, 0900-
1000; 29 March, 1900-2000) If you're new to the community, or if you
have been here a while and are just now deciding to join the work force,
this workshop is designed especially for you. The SEAP Coordinator will
provide you with information about the various employment offices on
base, their respective applications, and the current job climate. Join
us if you're looking for a job and would like to know nhere to start.

INDOC - (Weekly, Friday and Monday, 0830-1515; Tuesday, 0900-1600) Each
week the Family Service Center provides an orientation program for all
newcomers to the base. This program is usually scheduled every Friday,
Monday, and Tuesday at the Andrews Theater. All newly arrived military
and civilian personnel, spouses, and children over twelve are required to
attend. Family members have the option of delaying their attendance
up to 30 calendar days. The program gives you valuable information about
Iceland and the NATO Base. It also provides an opportunity for newcomers
to receive their ration cards and drivers licenses and to take a trip to
the capital city of Reykjavik. Please check our calendar for specific
dates each week. Dates will vary when Friday, Monday, or Tuesday is an
American Holiday.
Note; The tour to Seykjavik is held on the third day of lmdoc. Me ofler
