2 very worn leaves from a book written in two columns; 3 pages are
reproduced here. The leaves were taken from tbe covers of AM 136 and
138, fol., books written before 1643 by Jon Gissurarson in the Western
Fiords and probably also bound there. Both leaves are trimmed, the
text-area in their present State is c. 30,5-31 by 18,5 cm.

with music.

Height of text-area 22 cm. The leaves were taken from the cover of
Steph. 56, a 17th century MS which no doubt was bound in Iceland.

26 by 16 cm; on f. 5: 22 by 16 cm; on f. 7: 18 by 12 cm; on f. 8: 26

has been taken from the binding of AM 103, 4to, the others from the

the second, which is trimmed at the outer edge, c. 27 by 16 cm.
The name Jon Porlaksson has occurred several times in the preceding.
