Since the music of this sequence is the same as that of “Ab arce
siderea”, “Ave mundi gloria”, and “Mane prima sabbati”, of which
transcriptions are given under those headings, it will not be repeated
here, despite the occasional differences between the respective MSS.
of those sequences, because the sources of our sequence mainly
follow one or another of the diverging melody forms. The only
exceptions are the notes to some syllables of v. 7 (“ave fetu gloriosa”
in “Ave mundi”, and “leticie primordia” in “Mane”; “Ab arce”
extends only as far as v. 3b), and of v. 9 (“Nunc et in perpetuum”
in “Ave”), transcribed here:
