Probably this species wiil prove to be identical with A. sphœrophorus
Sauv., cf. Jónsson, 31, p. 151 and Kylin.1 The last-named author
writes that A. islandicus without doubt is identical with A. sphœrophorus,
but he gives no particulars as to the chromatophores of the iast-named
species, I therefore must still regard the Icelandic plant as a distinct
species.
