ICELAND REVIEW 59
After Skaftafell, the bus made brief
stops at the gas stations in the towns
of Kirkjubæjarklaustur and Vík, before
arriving at the Skógafoss waterfall. The
rain, which had been following us since
Skaftafell, had stopped, lightening the
mood on the bus.
While driving between Skógafoss and
Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, I could see that
people were posting pictures and selfies
on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from
Skógafoss, using the free Wi-Fi on the bus.
Behind Seljalandsfoss, the last scenic stop
before Reykjavík, I asked Ye-jun, the other
South Korean, what he thought of the trip.
“Next time I have to bring a real camera
with me. There were so many great land-
scape moments I saw but missed.”
And through the stream of water, we
watched his friend take a selfie at the
waterfall. *
