1) Counterpart funds: The figures in tliis column comprise the counterpart of various foreign loans obtained by
the Government and the Iceland Bank of Development, incl. P.L. 480 loans, and also the counterpart of various grants.
The following changes have been made in the table: Figures in columns 2 and 5 which formerly included only
the current position of the Treasury and Govemment institutíons and investment credit funds will from now on also in-
clude securities issued by those sectors and securities will not appear as a separate item in the table.
Cheques for clearing in the Central Bank are now included in the net position of deposit institutíons.
