1) The trade and services sections were in the May 1992 issue changed in the following way: Order of appearance has been reversed, (former
line 11 contained imports). Two major groups of merchandise exports have been added below the total. Imported intermediate goods for produc-
tion of aluminium and ferro-silicon have been summed up in line 122. In the services account section the itemization of receipts is completed be-
fore that of expenditures. Insurance receipts and expenditures have been included with miscellaneous receipts and expenditures. 2) As of the
Nov. 1991 issue the following changes have been made in the capital account section (lines 5-56): Former lines 531 and 532 (foreign private cap-
ital) and 565 (NIF contribution) have been added together to form the new line 51 (net direct investment). A new item is also found in line 52 (port-
folio investment), showing net capital movements in and out of lceland on account of domestic parties’ trading in foreign securities and vice versa.
Other modifications are due only to rearranging of figures and appropriate summing up.
