Ido so enjoy your paper and all the info
on Icelanders. I have been happy to
receive recipes from Halli’s kitchen. I
have a great recipe using Romanoff caviar. A
great deal of the cheaper caviar comes from
Icelandic waters. I was in the food business
for years ánd this was a winner with every-
one.
The caviar pie is a lovely presentation for
Christmas parties. It should be eaten with
crackers by your guests.
Remember from Icelandic water. Hope
you like.

♦ ♦ CAVIAR PIE ♦ +
6 hard cooked eggs
1 onion, chopped fine
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 - 8 oz cream cheese
2/3 cup sour cream
Spread on a quiche dish chopped egg
mixed with mayonnaise. On top of egg mix-
ture, sprinkle chopped onion. Combine
cream cheese & sour cream. Layer this on
top of eggs and onion.
Drain your caviar or it will run. Sprinkle
on top of pie and refrigerate. If you use differ-
ent colours of caviar it will look most festive.
