Prime Minister Oddsson announced the opening of a
new Icelandic website www.icelandnaturally.com at a
luncheon for members of the business community
hosted by the Icelandic North American Chamber of
Commerce, represented by its president, Jon Yard
Arnason. Magnus Bjarnason, the Icelandic Trade
Representative for North America in New York intro-
duced the website.

Ottawa's opening events unveiled Iceland to Canada
and created many memories for all in attendance. A
new bond was created between nations, but more
importantly between individuals. With this event the
Icelandic celebrations, Iceland in Canada 2000, were
opened, a feast which lasts for seven months.
