Children 's Corner

Michelle eru einar eftir.
Anna goes to Michelle’s Birthday Party
At two o’clock Anna goes to Michelle’s birthday party. There are seven
children there already besides her and Michelle. All of the children are
very found of the puppy and want to pet him all the time. The children are
all outside in the yard playing with the puppy, but he is getting pretty tired
when Michelle’s mom calls them around three-thirty to come inside and
have some hot chocolate and whipped cream tarts. Michelle takes the pup-
py into the kitchen and gives him water to drink and locks him in while the
children go into the dining room to eat. When they have had some whipped
cream tarts and hot chocolate and other goodies, Michelle opens her gifts
from the ehildren and receives many interesting things. Among other
things she gets a few CD’s, makeup, clothes and a necklace. When she has
finished opening her gifts she asks if anyone would like to watch a movie,
but the children would rather get to play with the puppy. Somebody asks
Michelle if she has given him a name. She says that his name is Ares after
the Greek war god. All the children think that it is a fíne name for him,
because he is so divine anyway. Around six the children go home and Anna
and Michelle are the only ones left.
