Fylkir. (The Chieftain, Dux).
A periodical devoted to arts, science, economic and social pro-
gress and general information, published once a year since Seph
1916 at Akureyri, Iceland.
Rule of Guidance: Honesty, Industry, Truthfulness.
Fyikir, counsels reduction of armaments in general, yet not
without prudence, limitation of urban populations, repression of al'
kinds of brigandage, or high handed aggression and fraud, extirpa-
tion of gambling, intoxication, vastefulness, vice and debauch and
whatever hinders or interferes with healthful and orderly human
life and progress, or the extension of righteousness and good
gowernment among all nations and races, so as to ensure a last'
ing peace and presperily and an early dominion of man over the
