purpose of training these new vtroops, so
that it may be confidently expected that
the repei-toire of these specially-taught
invaders will include the double somer-
sault, the back-flip and the art of falling
softly when given the coup de grace.
The only real chance of success which
seems at all possible for the moment is
for the Germans to resort to their re-
frigeration scheme — in which they were
going to freeze Great Britain into a solid
block — cover the Channel with ice and
just march across.
SCHWEINPOLITIK.
A German woman advertised for a
German maid: ‘The German servant will
live in a very nice room with a respect-
able Polish girl.’
A German serv'ant girl is to sleep with
a respectable Polish girl! But why not
rather let her sleep with no less respect-
able swine in the pigsty? There are cer-
tain things in favour of the pigs. It can
be said that the fathers and brothers of
the respectable pigs did not bestially tor-
ture and murder any Germans. That can-
not be said with certainty of the respect-
able Polish girl-
Certain Germans have not yet learnt to
think in categories of nations and not in-
dividuals, and do not even draw the ne-
cessary deductions from the fact of the
horrible mass murder of 60.000 Volks-
deutsche. We have no intention of ab-
solving a single Pole of the guilt which
weighs upon his entire nation, we shall
absolve no one, no respectable girl, nor
even a single Polish infant. They will for
all time bear the responsibility for the
crime, and we shall never endure that
even one German renounced his role.
