I spy, said the roving Wicket last Tuesday about 1:30 p.m. when it
came across this utility waster far beyond the perimeter of the base.
Hidden in the lava rocks this logistics building (part of an activity
known as NSGA) did not escape the shutter of the Wicket.

Sirloin gnat, au jus sauteed in dew
by Ens. Exum Walker
Ever hear two spiders gossip-
ing? Well, here's what I over-
heard the other day.
"Hey, Mergatroid, did you hear
about Agatha?
"No, Lula, tell me!"
"Well, you know, she's been
dating this guy from the wrong
side of the web, and four days
ago she didn't get home until way
after sunrise. If you ask me, I
think she's carrying eggs!!"
"No! "
"Yes, indeed She's going to
end up just like her mother, a
widow".
"Could be. Say, what ever
happened to her father?"
"Well, I'll tell you, Merg; as
you know he was Spider Black, a
very wise spider, who one night
set off to build a summer web.
He picked a spot right next to
that lightup there because during
the night, it attracted some of
the most delicious bugs into his
web. In fact, the very first
there he had top sirloin gnat au
tus sauteed in dew!"
| "Wow, just thinking about it
Ikkes my fangs water, but contin-
e your story."
"Well, the very next day,
someone forgot to turn the light
off so he decided to try to turn
it off himself to help conserve
electricity. He traced the wiring
back to the switch and was just
about to flip the switch when he
accidentally stepped on a hot wire
and, well, to make a long story
short, he was fried to a crisp."
"Omigoshl How awful!"
"And, do you know,to this day,
that light still bums for hours
on end in broad daylight as a
tribute to him!"
