Service station survey
On Monday a random survey of parts a-
vailability for cars was done at the Navy
Exchange Service Station. The first 10
cars that came into the Service Station
between 10:30 and 11 a.m. were logged in.
A check on parts availability showed the

Buyers' visit
Last week two senior buyers from NRS0
visited the Exchange to help supplement
our procurement staff and work out central
procurement problems with our headquar-
ters .
Delores Lasalle had the opportunity to
visit with the CPO wives and 0WC wives
during the week and answered questions
from the wives.
0. Olsen spent the week in our hard
goods departments and reviewed all out-
standing orders and our stock control pro-
cedures .
From Italy
A large shipment of Italian goods has
arrived including Alabaster and globe
bars. Check in the store for these popu-
lar gift items. We will reorder for
Christmas if sales are promising.
Winter tires
Our winter tires are here. Check the
Service Station to see if your size is a-
vailable. It's also time to start think-
ing about changing that anti-freeze.
Waterford crystal
A small shipment of Waterford crystal
has arrived. We are carrying only the
popular "Lismore" pattern, but patrons can
special order this item and their special
order can be included with our next regu-
lar order. Delivery time has been close
to six months and our minimum order quan-
tity is $2,500 from the manufacturer. It
is expected that Waterford crystal will be
in the new PACEX catalog for those of you
wanting only a few pieces.
New Canteen
The NEX Mobile Canteen is going to run
a new schedule very soon. We're hoping to
get the truck on the road earlier in the
morning and operate it late in the even-
ing. We need some information from work
areas who wish the mobile to stop. This
includes night-time work areas as we ex-
pect the mobile to be on the road as late
as 9 p.m. Call the Food Service Office at
5273 or 2265, and let us know if you want
to be on the Mobile Canteen's schedule.
Auto repair price guide
The Navy Resale System Office has re-
cently issued a Service Station/Auto Re-
pair Shop Labor Pricing Guide which de-
scribes in detail, for services offered,
the step-by-step procedures which will be
followed when performing a repair or ser-
vice at Navy Exchange facilities.
