and Bob Simister took a 20 and 17 point
average while Supply's Frank Moore (23)
and Bob Carroll (13) led the attack.

Vikings trounce
Billikens, 64 - 62
The Njardvik Vikings continued their
hex over the NATO Billikens by winning
a thriller 64-62 after trailing all the
way. The Billikens led 32-28 at half-
time. However, the long high arching
set shots by Arnie Brynjor who also had
20 points seemed to have the decisive
factors in the victory.
Scoring in double figures for the
Billikens were: Tom Polensky 14, Frank
Moore 12; Gene Frances 18; Bill Zopp 12
and Bob Redmond 10.

them.
NCS has been improving with Robin
Russler their lead player, under the

The games have been too close and
while there hasn't been too many upsets,
many of the games could have gone either
way:
Player of the week
Bob Redmond of AIMD was chosen as
basketball player of the week. Bob aver-
ages around 15 points a game, but he has
scored more if needed. He is an excel-
lent ball handler and very accurate
jumpshooter. Bob is especially at home
around the basket and has many good
moves in close.
Defensely Bob is an excellent shot
blocker. However, his biggest asset is
rebounding.
Bob came to Iceland in December and
has been a welcome i addition to the
basketball sceen.

Irish folklore tells us that the Lep-
rechauns know where to find the pot of
gold at the end of the rainbow. Suppos-
edly, if you can catch one of these
creatures, he can reveal it to you.
Waiting for a rainbow or a Leprechaun
with a pot of gold is not exactly the
best assurance that your dreams will
come true. But a pot of gold can be
yours without the help of a Leprechaun
...if you cultivate the habit of syste-
matic savings through the Payroll Sav-
ings Plan.
Your pot of gold will continue to
swell and you need never worry that some
Leprechaun will run off with the con-r
tents. Remember, if U.S. Savings Bonds
are lost, stolen or mutilated, they are
replaced.
The truth of the matter is, if you
ever did catch the Leprechaun and follow
him, you'd probably discover a packet of
U.S. Savings Bonds made out to Mr. Lep-
rechaun himself.
