The Well
To hold
open
house
"The Well", a Christian coffee house
located in the first floor lounge in
Barracks 747, will host an open house
tomorrow from 1 to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the NATO base Chapel,
"The Well" operates from 7:30 to mid-
night each Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
evenings.
Special features include homemade
ice cream on Tuesday nights and movies
are shown on Saturday evenings.
A Bible discussion class will be
starting soon. The leader will be
Sam Hobbs.

Magic, tours and classes
highlight USO events
"Do you believe in magic?" Just
bring your eagle eyes Sunday at 3 p.m.
and witness USO's professional magician
do tricky tricks like pulling rabbits
out of hats!
The donuts are coming! The donuts
are coming! Back by popular demand,
fresh homemade raised donuts will be
available at 9:15 Thursday mornings.
Sign up now for the Reykjavik shop-
ping trips, leaving at 12:30 p.m. Thurs-
days.

your income tax forms? USO will be of-
fering free advice for taxpayers who
need assistance. Call Carol at 6124

Bored? Looking for a rewarding job?
Need some excitement? USO is initiating
a USO volunteer program. One night a
week volunteers will be invited to or-
ganize and participate in an activity of
their choice. If interested, call USO
for further information.
USO will be commemorating Black His-
tory Month with many events on February's
calendar. Come every Monday at 6:30
p.m. for free historical movies. Enjoy
soul food Feb. 18 at a soul disco. Stop
and celebrate Black History Month with
your USO.
Don't forget to submit your Iceland
photo for the photo contest. Deadline
is Feb. 6. Gift certificates will be
offered for winning entries.
USO still has fish fries every Fri-
day and Saturday night, starting at
9:30 p.m. and going all night. Try
deep fried ysa, salads and beverages.

Dance club holds
open house
Looking for a way to use your spare
time or all that energy you have stored?
Do you want to have fun and not have to
spend much money? The Midnight Sundown-
ers Square Dance Club has just the
answer for you.
The club is hosting an "open house"
on Saturday, Feb. 4 and again on Satur-
day, Feb. 11. The open house is sched-
uled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be held
at the A.T. Mahan Elementary School.
Following the two open houses, the
club will then host square dance classes
now set to begin on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The classes will be conducted by Dick
Bull and will last for about 20 weeks.
Persons interested in learning about
the fun of square dancing are invited to
the open house on Feb. 4. For more in-
formation, persons may call the club
president, Bob Reynolds, at 5242 or Jim
Dewater at 6217.
During a candlelight ceremony, new
officers of the Protestant Women of the
Chapel were installed Monday evening at
the NATO base Chapel.
The PWOC officers are as follows:
Charlene Bennett, president; Margaret
Dearmond, first vice president; Doris
Miller, second vice president and Josie
Cercena, secretary.
Mrs. Mona Bailey, European Council
PWOC president, charged both outgoing
and incoming officers; committee chair-
men and the congregation.
A fellowship time followed the in-
stallation service.
