strange woman appears on Alpha, de-
manding that two crew members return
with her to Vega. Dr. Russell and
Tony accompany the woman to Vega,
only to learn the planet has been
taken over by robots.
TODAY 9:15 p .m.—ROCKFORD FILES—
When Detective Becker is suspended
on suspicion of dealing in dope,
Rockford investigates and uncovers
a narcotics ring, complete with a
crooked cop, a "has been" comedian
and a race car owner.
SATURDAY 6:45 p.m.—REDD FOXX SPECIAL—
Redd Foxx hosts Suzanne Somers, Lome
Greene, Red Buttons and Rip Taylor.
Comedy skits include, a celebrity roast
for President Ide Amin and a oneupman-
ship contest between two bungling cow-
boys.
SATURDAY 8:45 p.m.—FISH—An old friend,
Abe Vigoda, whom viewers have met at
Barney Miller's 12th precinct, meet him
again in a new comedy series. In this
premiere telecast, Fish starts a home
for street-wise delinquents.
SUNDAY 6:45 p.m.—THE YEARS BETWEEN—
A dramatic presentation of man's figjijt
for his human rights--from the De-
claration of Independence to World War
II and through the Nazi regime.
SUNDAY 9:05 p.m.—BARNABY JONES—A
wealthy rancher refuses to believe his
oldest son was accidentally trampled
to death by a horse. He asks Barnaby
to seek proof of foul play.
MONDAY 7:50 p.m.—CAROL BURNETT—Guest
stars are Anthony Newley and Bernadette
Peters. In "The Englishman," Tony and
Carol have a conversation about an Eng-
lishman's accent. Another skit has
Carol and Bernadette as middle-aged
mothers discussing their teenage sons.
MONDAY 11:50 p.m.—JIGSAW JOHN—An
interesting adventure series based on
actual experiences of John St. John, a
Los Angeles police department investiga-
tor. This premiere follows the dyspep-
tic middle-aged homicide investigator,
Jigsaw John, who is searching for the
murderer of several elderly women. *'*

TUESDAY 7:35 p.m.—HAPPY DAYS—The
boys stage a beauty contest so
they can meet beautiful girls. They
rig the results to make certain no one
claims the fabulous prizes promised to
the winner.

Bragg and Casey have a falling out over
a girl. Casey decides he's had it--and
transfers out!
WEDNESDAY 8:15 p.m.—LAVERNE AND SHIR-
LEY—When Laverne suddenly decides to
marry her boyfriend of two months, every-
one is happy--except Shirley.
WENESDAY 9:05 p.m.—DELVECCHIO—An
organized gang of hoodlums manage to
extort protection money from the local
merchants of the Barrio. To apprehend
the thieves, Delvecchio uses a man who
has just been released from prison to
set the gang up for arrest.
THURSDAY 8:00 p.m.—MISSION IMPOSSI-
BLE—This Emmy award-winning series is
back with new exciting episodes! In the
debut show of the new series, a foreign
country has been taken over by a mili-
tary coup. The incomparable mission
impossible force seeks to secure a note-
book containing valuable data on bac-
teriological warfare---a notebook in
the possession of a group opposing the
dictatorship.
THURSDAY 8:50 p.m.—POLICE STORY—A
veteran beat cop is framed for a
slaying and sent to prison. While in-
mates plot their revenge, two internal
affairs investigators doggedly try to
clear him.
FRIDAY 7:00 p.m.—SPACE 1999—John,
Helena and Maya battle against time
and an Army of grotesque rock creatures
when Tony falls to the "lights of death."
FRIDAY 9:05 p.m.--ROCKFORD FILES—
Rockford helps an old prison buddy get
a foothold in the gumshoe business by
referring to a fast talking private eye.

TODAY 11;40 p.m.—DUEL OF THE IRON
FIST—In this Chinese-produced, En-
glish-dubbed action film, the young
hero sets out to avenge the death of
his father, the framing of his brother
for fraud and the debauching of his
sweetheart. He tries to accomplish
this by taking on hordes of attacking
evildoers in hand-to-hand combat in
kung-fu brawls. (adult)
SATURDAY 11:05 p.m.—THE HELLSTROM
CHRONICLE—A disturbing and enlightening
documentary based on scientific fact of
the impermanence of the human species,
and of insects' greater ability for
survival than man's! Stars Lawrence
Pressman.
TUESDAY 11:10 p.m.—THE PRINCESS AND
THE PIRATE—A trick entertainer and a
princess is captured by Captain Hook and
his buccaneers on the Spanish Main.
With the help of the ship's fool, the
entertainer escapes taking the princess
and the captain's treasure map with him.

WIFE—A heartwarming fantasy about a

FIDS—A science fiction drama about man-
eating plants brought to earth after a
meteorite shower renders all but a few

FRIDAY 11:10 p.m.—ALL YOU NEED IS
CASH—They start out in a Liverpool
night club, rise to stardom on concert
tours, do "The Ed Sullivan Show," and
break up after flopping in a film about
four Oxford Dons on a tea shop whirl.
They are the Rutles, and their resem-
blance to the Beatles is quite in-
tentional. Stars Eric Idle, Rikki
Fataar, John Halsey, Mick Jagger and

FRIDAY 12:20 a.m.—BLOOD OF THE VAM-
PIRE—A young doctor convicted of mal-
practice is sent to to a prison for the
insane. He becomes involved with a vam-
pire seeking blood for experiments.
