A. THE PRIZE FIGHTER—Comedy (PG). Tim Conw. y, an unex- perienced boxer, who is trained by Don Knotts, becomes involved in fighting again after the two were fired as managers of a has-been fighter. (99 min.) B. DEFIANCE—Drama (PG). Jan Michael Vincent is a down and out merchant seaman who has had his union card taken away for fighting. His neighborhood is terrorized by gang and he takes action to make the area safer. (103 min.) C. SCAVENGER HUNT—Comedy (PG). A contemporary comedy, into which has been incorporated a little Chaplin, a little Laurel and Hardy and a lot of Mack Sennett. Stars Richard Benjamin and James Coco. (116 min.) D• FIDDLER ON THE ROOF—Musical drama (G) . Based on the Broadway musical, the story concerns a poor Jewish farmer at the turn of the century in a small Ukranian village, with his five dowry-less daughters, his lame horse, his wife and his companionable relationship with God. (149 min.) E. HERE COME THE TIGERS--Comedy (PG). Little League base- ball team, the Piddleton Tigers is a haven for misfits. Their season begins poorly, but through the acquisition of a small oriental home run hitter and a death pitcher they turn the season around. (97 min.) Stars Richard Lincoln and James Zvanut„ F• HEAVEN CAN WAIT—Fantasy comedy (PG). Warren Beatty, a football quarterback for the rams, is killed in an acci- dent before his scheduled time. He is allowed to return to earth in a series of different bodies while retaining his original personality. Also stars Julie Christie. (108 min.) G. RETURN TO BOGGY CREEK—Horror drama (G). A photogra- pher is anxious to get pictures of Big Foot in the Louis- iana area. He hires a guide and they set out through the swamps followed by three adventurous childrer. (92 min.) Stars Dawn Wells and Dana Plato. H• WIZARDS—Animated fantasy (PG). This cartoon feature depicts earth ten million years from now with wizards rul- ing. (103 min.) I. CHAPTER TWO—Comedy drama (PG). This movie depicts the courtship and the eventual marriage of Marsha Mason to James Caan. He was previously married and is moodily pre- occupied with his dead spouse. (127 min.) J. HERO AT LARGE—Comedy (PG). John Ritter is an out-of- work actor looking for a play. In the meantime he dresses like Captain Avenger for local theaters and is involved in foiling a robbery attempt. The media covers the story and he becomes a hero. Also stars Anne Archer. (98 min.) K. CUBA—Drama (R). In the finale of Batista's regime in Cuba, the revolution is closing in on upper crust types. Stars Brooke Adams, Chris Sarandon and Sean Connery. (122 min.) L. LEO & LOREE—Romantic comedy (PG). Donny Most l^^Hp Philadelphia for Hollywood, certain he will be an over- night success. On his arrival, he discovers how difficult it is to become an actor. Also stars Linda Purl. (97 min) M. ONE MAN JURY—Drama (R). Jack Palance is a lieutenant for the Los Angeles Police Department and has seen a faulty justice system allow too many criminals to go free. Pal- ance believes those who disturb the peace should be elimin- ated. Also stars Pamela Shoop. (104 min.) N. HOOPER—Action comedy drama (PG). Burt Reynolds is stunt coordinator and double for star Adam West during the filming of a big-budget film. Newcomer stuntman Jan-Mich- ael Vincent threatens his position as the W’orld's greatest stuntman. Also stars Sally Fields. (100 min.) O. HIGH VELOCITY—Drama (PG). Keenan Wynne is the Direc- tor of a large International Corporation called IGS. He has money, power, servants and a beautiful wife much youn- ger than himself. Unfortunately for Wynne he also has a couple of things he hasn't bargained for. Also stars Ale- jandro Rey and Britt Ekland. (106 min.) P. HEART BEAT—Drama (R). A true story of three people whose nonconforming dream, aspiration and bold love in- fluenced the pop culture of the fifties. Stars Nick Nolte and Sissy Spacek. (108 min.) R. ROLLER BOOGIE—Comedy drama with music (PG). Linda Blair runs away from her wealthy family to get into the Venice beach skating scene. Also stars Jim Bray and Jimmy Van Patten. S. ZULU DAWN—War drama (PG). The vivid recreation of the Battle of Isandhlwana. A conflict that sent repercussions throughout the entire British empire. Stars Burt Lancaster and Peter O'Toole. (99 min.) T. THE ROSE—Drama (R). Bette Midler is a highly sucj ful entertainer who is adored and idolized by milliq fans but can't find happiness in her private life, stars Alan Bates. (135 min.) U. BAKER'S HAWK—Drama (G). A poignant and unforgettable stood up in a turbulent time. Stars (97 min.) (PG). Charles Bronson travels Pleasence, a clerk at KGB Head- defense units. Also ,'tars ..cA 9 tale of a man that Clint Walker and Burl Ives. V. TELEFON—Suspense drama to the U.S. to stop Donald quarters, from destroying Lee Remick. (109 min.) W. THE NIGHT CHILD—Occult drama (R). Richard Johnson is a producer for BBC-TV, and his young daughter has developed an abnormal attachment to him and is jealous of every other woman in his life. Stars Richard Johnson and Joanna Cas- sidy. (95 min.) X. A SPECIAL DAY—Drama. Before World War II Hitler comes to Rome to ally his forces with those of Mussolini. Stars Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.
