Gas sales moved
The Navy Exchange gasoline
sales has been temporarily re-
located behind Public Works Trans-
portation just past the- Service
Station.
Repairs being made to the Sta-
tion will take approximately 30
days to complete. Parts and ac-
cessory sales as well as the ser-
vice bays remain open as usual.
Applications taken
Individuals are presently being
selected for the Navy's BOOST pro-
gram. If you will not have passed
your 21st birthday as of July 1st,
1981 you might be eligible. Con-

Registration Monday
Campus classes announced
University of Maryland and Los
Angeles Community College Term I
registration begins Monday at the
Navy Campus office. Registration
will run through Friday and all pap-
erwork must be completed to attend
classes.
The University if Maryland offers
six courses for the first term of
1980. PSYC 100 - INTRODUCTION TO
PSYCHOLOGY - This basic introductory
course brings the student into con-
tact with the major problems con-
fronting psychology and more import-
ant attempts at their solutions;
UCSP 198 - MODERN ALGEBRA - This
course covers the language and fund-
amental operations of algebra; ENGL
291 - EXPOSITORY WRITING - This
course is designed to improve skills
in writing effective explanations of
information and ideas; BMGT 364 -
MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION THEORY -
The development, process, function,
and future development of management
and organization theory are covered.
FREN 334 - FRENCH LIFE AND CULTURE -
This is a study of the historical,
literary and culteral traditions of
France from the 19th century through
contemporary times; PSYC 310 - PER-
CEPTION - Phenomena and theories of
perception including psychological,
anatomical, physiological, and en-
viromental factors important in de-
termining how we perceive the world
are surveyed.
Los Angeles Community College of-
fers 12 courses for students to
choose from. ACCOUNTING 001 - IN-
TRODUCTION ACCOUNTING I - This
course covers the fundamental prin-
ciples of Double Entry record keep-
ing through the preparation of work
sheets and statements; AMT 53 -
AERONAUTICAL GROUND SCHOOL - This
course fulfills the Federal Aviation
Administration requirement covering
Ground School; BRDCSTG 009 - CONTROL
ROOM OPERATION - The course covers
the professional standards and tech-
niques involved in the operation of
the common types of Radio and Tele-
vision control room; BUS 010 - FUND-
AMENTALS OF TAX RETURN PREPARATION -
This course aquaints the student
with the provisions and requirements
of federal and state income tax laws
applying to individuals; ENGL 64 -
READING AND WRITING, BASIC SKILLS -
This is an English course to improve

past two years RMC Lanier served as the Operations Chief at Special
