Value wording
changes in A F
housing regs.
The phrase "expensive and valu-
able items" has replaced the terms
"high value" and "property of sub-
stantial or extraordinary value" in
Air Force regulations.
Thus, it is no longer required to
declare, in writing, expensive or
valuable items.
Failure to make the declaration
does not preclude payment of a claim
for missing items. Claim payments
will be limited to the maximum
listed on a Table of Allowances on
file at the transportation office.
Captain Wilson, Air Forces Ice-
land Staff Judge Advocate, extension
7991 may be contacted for assistance.

President Jimmy Carter has de-

the sixth falls.
