YOUTH CENTER
SATURDAY—Piano Lessons and Jazz
Dancing Class this afternoon. The
Youth Center is open to all ages 6-
19, except after 6 p.m., when it is
reserved to 7th grade and up only.
SUNDAY—Sunday is reserved for Teens
only, Grades 7 and up. Come in and
enjoy the new Teen Room!
MONDAY—Grades 1-2 will play King
and Queen. Grades 3-4 play War Ball.
Grades 5-6 have a Pool Tournament.
An Arts and Craft is planned for all
ages. In the evening we have Slim-
nastics from 6 to 7'p.m. and Modern
Jazz Dancing from 7 to 8 p.m.
TUESDAY—The youngest group plays
War Ball. Grades 3-4 hold their
weekly tournaments. Grades 5-6 also
play War Ball. Ballet classes in the
afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m.
WEDNESDAY—Age 6 through Grade 2
play Kickball. Grades 3-4 play
Ball, while the 5th and 6th grades
do Painting. The Jewelry Class is
held today at 4 p.m. and the Modern
Jazz Dancing is held tonight at 7
p.m.
THURSDAY—Age 6 through Grade 2 have
relays. The 3rd and 4th grades learn
to use hand tools. Grades 5-6 have
a Foosball Tournament scheduled.
Ballet classes are held this after-
noon, and the Evening Slimnasties
are held from 6 to 7 p.m.
FRIDAY—A Free Movie is scheduled
for 3:15, open to all ages 6 and up.
The Teen Disco is held as usual,
starting at 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
There are still openings in the
following classes: Modern Jazz
Dancing, Adult Ballet, Guitar, Puppet
Making, and Evening Slimnastics.
The Youth Center is also looking for
instructors for Art, Gymnastics,
Fencing or any talent that one might
have to share. Anyone interested
in starting a Girl's Softball Lea-
gue call the Youth Center at 7508.
Summer Day Camp will be starting on
June 10 at the Youth Center. Come
in now and sign up or call the Youth
Center at 7508.
TOUR OFFICE
TOUR OFFICE—is offering their first
tour to Whale Bay on Saturday, June
6, leaving Viking Mall at 9 a.m. and
arriving back on the base by 7:30
p.m. The cost of the tour will be
$18 per adult and $13.50 per child.
The first stop on the tour is Whale
Bay and if a whale has been caught,
you will be able to observe the cut-
ting and fleshing of it. You will
also drive through the Borgarfjordur
District, through Lundarreykjadalur
Valley and up into the highlands,
through Uxahryggir. The last stop
will be a drive past Thingvellir
before heading back to the base.

at the Tour Office!
The reservation dates of the Pony
Farm have recently been changed.
The first group will attend August
4-11 and the final group, August 11-
18. The Icelandic Pony Farm has a
lot to offer children from ages 9-
16. They teach riding, handling and
grooming of the horse. -Transpor-
tation from Reykjavik is provided
as well as accomodations and meals.
Children must have a physical exam-
ination and present a health cert-
ificate at the farm. There are a
very limited number of spaces avail-
able, so if interested be sure to
contact the Tour Office.
