in the fiction books received at the
Station Library.
John Jay Osborn, author of The
Paper Chase, has written a new novel
about high finance on Wall Street,
The Man Who Owned New York (F/Osb).

new science fiction titles include
The Cool War (SF/Poh) by Frederik
Po’nl, The Claw of the Conciliator
(SF/Wol) by Gene Wolf, and Analog1s
Golden Anniversary Anthology (SF/
(SC)Sell).
For those who like to be scared
to death, there is 666 (F/Ans) by
Jay Anson, author of The Amityville
Horror. David Shobin's thriller The
Unborn (F/Sho) is the story of an
unborn child plotting to kill even
its own mother. The main character
of Small World (F/Kin) is an unbalan-
ced woman whose passion is dollhouses
and who wants real people to live in
them. This is the first novel of
Tabitha King, wife of best-selling
author Stephen King.
For those who like westerns, there
are Disaster Creek (W/Ben) by Dwight
Bennett; The Man They Hanged (W/Ste)
by Robert Steelman; Buffalo Medicine
(W/Col) by Don Goldsmith; and The
Partners (W/Red) by Robert Redding.
Suspenseful novels of international
intrigue are always in demand. Two

chutists (F/Kle) by Edward Klein.
