ber of unexplained murders and people
vanishing on the beach area are occur-
ing. The police department have combed
the beach trying in vain to find out why
people are just disappearing into thin

B+ PSYCHO II -- Suspense Drama (R). Norman
Bates returns 22 years later to the im-
famous motel. Very quickly strange
things begin to happen. Norman recieves
accusatory notes from his dead mother

is a hapless bungler who's repeated sui-

F+ DEATH HUNT — Action Drama (R). When
Charles Bronson kills defending his home
Ed Lauter sets the scene so that Bronson
appears the attacker. Bronson leaves
his home and begins a trek toward safety
pursued by the Royal Canadian Mounted

G- THIEF -- James Caan is a victim of an
unfortunate childhood who lands in jail
and is hardened by his unsavory environ-
ment. He later joins forces with an un-
derground figure. Also stars Tuesday

H THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE — Drama
(R). Jack Nicholson is a lustful bum-
hero who pursues sexy Jessica Lange.They
develop a passionate affair and plot to
murder her husband (John Colicos). The
lovers are arrested and charged with the
slaying of Colicos. (122 min.)
I SACRED GROUND — Western Drama (PG).
Mountain man Matt Colter and his preg-
nant Apache woman, Little Doe, build a
cabin in the snow-covered cascades in
eastern Oregon. He is unaware that he
“has 'built his home on a sacred Indian
burial ground. Stars Tim Mclntire and
Jack Elam. (100 min.)
J TWILIGHT ZONE, THE MOVIE -- Action Drama
(PG). Four separate segments open with
an embittered racist who is propelled
from one calamity to another. The sec-
ond emotionally-charged segment is dir-
ected by Steven Spielberg. In the third
the featured performer is a little boy
who can make anything happen. The four-
th features hallucination and terror
aboard an aircraft. Stars Vic Morrow and

K THE BOAT -- War Drama (R). Patrolling
the Atlantic during World War II, the
crew of U-96 bring the harsh reality of
unrestricted submarine warfare to a
gripping peak. Stars Jurgen Prochnow

L LEGEND OF THE LONE RANGER -- Western
Drama (PG). Thi Lone Ranger and Tonto
met when they were boys. The legend con-
tinues some 20 years later when they re-
unite to rescue President Grant from the
Cavendish Gang. Stars Jason Robards,
Klinton Spilsbury and Michael Horse.
