Shop at the Thrift Store
The busiest shopping season
of the year is upon us. A
military family's budget already
stretched with recurring routine
expenses, can be decimated by
the anticipated purchase of
hoiiday meals, decorations and
gifts. This is particularly
true for young Sailors, Marines,
and Airmen families who, of nec-
essity, are living on the margin
and welcome any opportunity to
help stretch their dollars.
To ease the "pocketbook blues"
When shopping, consider your
Navy^ Relief Thrift Shop at Bldg.
861. The Thrift Shop carries
more than uniform and clothing.
Knick Knacks, furniture items,
games and toys, even holiday de-
corations can be found.
The Thrift Shop is open from
10-12 on Thursday and Saturday.
Overeaters anonymous
"Are you tired of being over-
weight?" If you want support in
your efforts to cut down, come
to OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS. The
only requirement for membership
is a sincere desire to stop eat-
ing compulsively. 0A meets
weekly in the Hospital Library
on Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m.
beginning November 1st.
