Community holiday events
Cheerleaders here tonight
The Los Angeles Rams Cheer-
leaders will perform at Andrews
Theater tonight and tomorrow
night. The nine cheerleaders wil 1
do a variety show including sing-
ing and tap dancing. Featured
music will be pop, jazz, broadway
and top 40 tunes. After each
performance the cheerleaders will
be available for handshakes,
autographs, and photos. On Sat-
urday, the group will visit the
US0 at 2 p.m.
Two shopping events
The Tour Office is sponsoring
two shopping trips to Reykjavik
tomorrow. The first tour will
depart the base at 9 a.m. and
return around 5 p.m. The second
tour will depart the base at 6
p.m. and return around 11 p.m.
The shops in Reykjavik are stay-
ing open until 11:30 p.m. to a-
llow people to do their last min-
ute shopping on that day. Call
the Tour Office at 4200 for more
information.
Youth Center news
Saturday, December 22 the
Youth Center will have a Christ-
mas Party for members only from
1 to 3 p.m. Santa Claus will
also visittoget last-minute re-
quests and hand out special
treats.

The movie today is "The Res-

Also the center will celebrate
the shortest day today with con-
tests starting at 3:30.
The Pre Teen New Years dance
for 5th and 6th graders will be
held Saturday, December 29th from
6 to 9:30 p.m. The Teens New
Years Eve Party will be from 8 to
1 a.m. on New Years Eve.
Ice & Fire presents...
The Ice and Fire Theater
Group presents, "A Christmas
Carol." The show will be per-
formed this weekend in the High
School Multipurpose Room. All
shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Satur-
day, Sunday, and Monday evenings;
Tickets are $2 for adults and $1
for children. Tickets can be
purchased at the door.
USO's outdoor barbeque
Come to the US0 on December
22nd and celebrate the shortest
day of the year. The US0 will
celebrate 4 hours and 22 minutes
of daylight from 11:00 a.m. to
4 p.m. with an outdoor barbeque!
