Intramural basketball
The basketball team for the
recently arrived VP-40 Marlins
is making its presence known in
a big way around the NATO
Base.
Since their arrival, the
VP-40 team have proved them-
selves against two of the resi-
dent teams, the Marines and Rock-
ville.
During the most recent game,
the one against Rockville, the
game could have gone either way
by half-time, but VP-40 must
think they'er still in sunny
California, because they played
as if they had a magic rainbow
overhead.
By the time the score clock
ticked down to the final minutes
of the fourth quarter, the VP-40
Marlins, had a 52 to 48 lead
over Rockville, which they held
onto for their second victory.
