Icelandic youngsters take advantage of the recent warm spell to
stroll through the streets of downtown Reykjavik.

Two weeks ago, the A. T. Mahan
Elementary School Parent-Teacher
Organization sponsored a "Show-
case of Talent." It was an even-
ing of entertainment featuring
students from the school. There
were piano and flute solos, gym-
nastics and dancing, comedy and
poetry and lots of breakdancing.
It was not a competitive event,
everyone who performed was a win-
ner. Among the winners was Rech-
elle Apolonio, shown above, who
performed a hula dance.
