Your Family service Center has
come up with a new meaning ...
Show Off your Slides.
During^the month of July,
the FSC is inviting all you
photographers out there to take
in some examples of your slide
collection of the Icelandic
countryside to the Family Ser-
vice Center and show them off.
The slide presentations will
be at 7 p.m. on Monday nights.
Each contributor will be given
an opportunity to talk about
photographic techniques and
Icelandic experiences when
showing the slides.
If you have slides that you
want to schedule and show, give
the Family Service Center Pro-
grams Coordinator a call at
4357. They are planning the
following slide show agenda from
7 to 9 p.m.
July 29, Southwestern Corner,
with an one hour drive from the
NATO Base, call FSC by July 24.

other Icelandic areas will be

• New York will hold a pri-
mary election on September 10
for state supreme court justices
and country officials. A gen-
eral election will be held Nov-
ember 5.
Navy people and their depend-
ents may use the federal post
card application (FPCA) to reg-
ister and request an absentee
ballot. Completed FPCA's should
be sent to the County Board of
Elections, County of Voting
Residence at the address listed
in the voting assistance guide.
Separate requests must be made
for ballots for the September
and November elections. A bal-
lot received up to seven days
after the election will be
counted, as long as it was
postmarked before election day.
Where possible, absentee voters
should have the return ballot
envelope hand stamped.
Several states will hold
municipal elections this year.
Because they are held at var-
ious times, even within states,
people should check with their
county clerk for election
dates. The 1984-85 voting
assistance guide lists many of
these elections on the last two
pages of change one. Contact
your local voting assistance
officer for further information
or help in filling out the FPCS.
For questions which cannot
be answered at the local level,
call the Navy Voting Assistance
Officer, Naval Military Person-
nel Command (NMPC-12C), at
autovon 224-3248 or commercial
(202) 694-3248.
