Recreation
Meetings
There will be a Recreation Fund Council meeting
May 4 and a Recreational Committee meeting May
18. Both meetings will be held in the Naval Air
Station Conference Room and will be from 1:30 to
3:30 p.m. All members are expected to attend.
Notes
Symphony Concert
The Tour office has tickets for all symphony con-
certs planned through May 12. Regular concerts
are every other Thursday. Contact the Tour Office
for more information or to purchase seats at all or
any one of the concerts available.

May 15: South Shore tour
Skiing
Ski tours and packages to Blafjoll (Blue Mountains)
will be offered every weekend when snow conditions
allow. Transportation is $10. Look into our ski
packages for $10, $15, and $20. The next ski tour
is slated for May 8.
Hobby Crofts
Arts and Crafts Contest will be held tomorrow
at the P.T.S.O. Bazaar. The categories are: stained
glass, ceramics, needle crafts, leatherwork,
woodwork, drawing and painting, miscellaneous and
youth. Each first place category winner will
receive an award, while second and third place
winners recieve a ribbon and certificate. Sign-up
sheets are available in the Hobby Sales Store.
If you have a skill and would be interested in
teaching an arts and crafts class, please contact
the Hobby Sales Store at 7584.
Beginner's Lapidary. Three days of classes on
an individual basis. $25 fee required. Call the
Hobby Store for more information.
Stained Glass Class will be held May 2 from 7-9
p.m. There will also be a stained glass box making
class May 7 from 9 a.m. to noon. Both classes will
be taught at the Hobby Center.
Seving Class for infant's and children's clothes
will be held May 2 from 7-9 p.m. Also, an
intermediate sewing class will be held May 3 from
7-9 p.m. Both classes will be taught at the Hobby
Center.

Bowling Center
“No Tap" tournament will be held May 7. Sign-ups
begin at 5 p.m. for A-Shift (which starts at 6
p.m. ) and at 8 p.m. for B-Shift (which starts at 9
p.m. Highest score for three games will be
awarded a prize of $60. We will also have a special
guest appearance at this tournament. Ben
Davidson, former Oakland Raider defensive end,
who created nightmares for opposing quarterbacks
during hi3 illustrious 14-year pro football career,
will be our special guest. Since his retirement
from the NFL in 1974, he has appeared in the movie,
M*A*S*H, and on the TV shows: "Eight is Enough",
“Fantasy Island" and "Happy Days".
Mother's Day Special: Bring your mother in to
bowl and each of you will receive one free game.
This is an all-day event.
Yellov Head-Pin Bowling is from 11 a.m. to 1
p.m. every Mon-Fri. Win a free game on a stril^
with a yellow head-pin. V
Happy Birthday: On your birthday, show us your
ID card and bring two friends with you to bowl three
games, and you receive three more free games.
Windbreoker Club
Every Tuesday at the Windbreaker is "Rotator
Night" and we have a Prime Rib dinner special.

"Jet-lag night" is every Wednesday night. Welcome
all the newcomers to Iceland and introduce
yourself.
Saturday night is Family Night Out and we offer an

with the entire family.
Library
The NATO Base library, located in the USO
building, will be serving authentic Mexican cookies
on May 5 for the celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
There will be a national physical fitness boi
display in the library from 9-14 May.
