(Left) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)
personnel parachute from a HC-130 tanker. This
was to get the EOD personnel Parachute Insertion
Capability (PIC) qualified. This also was the first
time a PIC exercise was held in Iceland. The
HC-130 and crew is from the West Virginia Air
National Guard.
(Below) EOD personnel enjoy a little water-skiing
after their successful parachute insertion. The
platform is being recovered after it was dropped
with the Mark I Swimmer Recovery Craft for the
exercise.
