^^^BIINGTON (AFNS) — Kansas’ Presidential Primary is April 7
with the State Primary Aug. 4 and General Election Nov. 3, Federal
Voting Assistance Program officials said.
The ballots include candidates for U.S. and State Senators and
Representatives, a Supreme Court Justice, judges and District Magis-
trate.
To register and request absentee ballots, military members, civilian
overseas and their families should mail a completed federal post card
application to the County Election Officer to arrive no later than the last
business day of the week before the election.
Ballots are mailed 45 days before the election and must be received
by the close of polls on election day.
New York Primary
WASHINGTON (AFNS) — New York’s Presidential Primary is April
7 with the State Primary Sept. 15 and General Election Nov. 3, Federal
Voting Assistance Program officials said.
The ballots include candidates for U.S. Senators and State Senators,
U.S. and State Assembly seats. To register and request absentee ballots,
military members, civilians overseas and their families should mail a
completed federal post card application to the Local Board of Elections
at least 25 days before the primary and 10 days before the general
election.
Ballots are mailed 32 days before the election, must be postmark by
the day before the election and received by the local board of elections
by the seventh day after the election. Special write-in ballots are
available at least 30 days before an election.

IHINGTON (AFNS) — Pennsylvania’s Presidential and State

overseas and their families should mail a completed federal post card
application to the Municipal Clerk by the Friday before the election.
Ballots are mailed 30 days before the election and must be received by
the close of polls on election day. Special write-in ballots are available
at least 30 days before the election.

Voting Information Center
WASHINGTON (AFNS) — The Voting Information Center provides
recorded messages from candidates, as well as other election informa-
tion. The center receives calls 24 hours a day at DSN 223-6500 or com-
mercial (703)693-6500.

CAPT James I. Munsterman, Commanding Officer, U.S. Naval Air
Station, Keflavik and Mr. Jack Cristwell, Director, Morale Welfare and
Recreation (MWR), cut the ribbon to open the new location of the Tour
Office. Last week the Tour Office moved from the Viking Mall to the
MWR offices across the street. The new location lends more space for
both the employees and the customers. Their hours of operation are
from 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m., Monday - Friday. They have current informa-
