A member of the God Squad is stuffed from behind in
basketball competition last weekend, as the summer
basketball league officially kicked off.
Dozens of children, ages 8-14, are staying active this summer through the gym’s
new program, Super Summer Kids. "We developed this programfor children who
aren't involved in the Summer Camp Program and who are looking for something
to do," said Wendy Koehler, Athletic Intern at the gym. The program offers
organized floor games on Tuesdays in the gym from 2-4 p.m. and organized
activities in the pool on Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m.

Postal Information
All accountable mail (registered, in-
sured, certified) must be signed for by the
addressee unless the addressee author-
izes in writing another person to receive
their mail.
Personal checks will be accepted only
for the exact amount of all postal serv-
ices, except when money orders are used.
Travelers checks may be used, provided
the services purchased are at least 50% of
the value of the travelers check.
Due to airline policy changes, outgo-
ing mail for same day dispatch will close-
out at 12 p.m. each working day.
For your convenience, the Post Office
has installed three slots marked “State-
side/MPS,” “Air Force Local” and “Navy
Local." These slots are located in the
Viking Mall Area outside the Post Office
door, adjacent to the glass wall to the
NEX/Wendy’s. Mail will be removed at
12 p.m. daily from these boxes. All local
mail will normally be processed within
two working days after receipt
