The winning photo for the month of July was submitted by Matt Manning. This serene harbor view is
located in the port of Reykjavik. He exposed for three seconds atf:22 using a Hasselblad 500 cm
medium format camera to get infinite focus capability. Matt thinks of himself as a man of few words
and says he enjoys taking photos because a picture can speak a thousand words.

The Naval Criminal Investigative
Service (NCIS) is requesting assis-
tance from the NAS, Keflavik com-
munity to gather information regard-
ing criminal activities on the base.
Callers may speak directly to a NCIS
special agent during normal working hours
(7 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Monday through Friday.
After hours callers may leave their informa-
tion on a voice recorder. Anonymous tele-
phone calls are also welcome, and those
callers who wish to identify themselves can
have their identity protected if they so
desire.
In addition to crimes aboard NAS,
Keflavik, callers may also provide infor-
mation on terrorism and or espionage.
