Commissary
to upgrade
The Commissary will be closed
Sunday to install a new cash
register and optical reader sys-
tem. According to Reginaldo
Ramirez, Commisaiy Officer, the
existing system was eight years
old and prone to frequent break-
downs.
“With the new system, we in-
tend to improve customer serv-
ice as well as increase the realia-
bility for us,” he said.
The Commissary has been
serving the base community since
1972. In order to meet the needs
of more shoppers, Ramirez added
that the Commissary will be
undergoing a renovation in the
next year, effectively increasing
floor space.
