Members of the Chapel Bell Choir performed at the annual Festival of Trees event in the A.T. Mahan
Elementary School recently. The 11-person amateur group regularly performs on the fourth Sunday of
each month in the Chapel of Light. The three-day event featured displays of Christmas trees decorated
by various base commands and organizations. The charity fund raiser was put on by the Naval Facility
Auxiliary and entrance donations, totalling $250, will be used for base charities. “Hopefully the Festival
of Trees prompted people to get in the Christmas spirit,” said Janet Miller, director of the bell choir.
