2) Þ.m.t. grunnlífeyrir, tekjutrygging, uppbót, vasapeningar, heimilisuppbót, sérstök heimilisuppbót og bensínstyrkur. (Sjómannalífeyrir er einnig talinn með
ellilífeyri). Includes basic pension, income supplement, additional pension supplement, money support, household supplement, additional household
supplement and petrol allowance. (Seamen 's pensions are also included in retirement pensions).
3) Skv. ákvæðum laga nr. 87/1989 um verkaskiptingu ríkis og sveitarfélaga tók ríkið alfarið að sér sjúkratryggingar frá og með 1. janúar 1990. í kjölfarið voru
sjúkrasamlögin lögð niður. Útgjöldin sem þau báru áður, eru nú færð undir sjúkratryggingar almannatrygginga að undanskildum skrifstofukostnaði, sem færður er
með rekstrarkostnaði Tryggingarstofnunar. According to legislation in 1989 (Act. No. 87/1989) the state took overall health insurancefunctions as ofl January
1990 and the municipal health insurance funds were discontinued. As a result health insurance expenditures were transferred to the social security health
insurance scheme except for administration costs, which became part ofthe overall administration costs ofthe State Social Security Institute.
