Þegar talið er eftir tegund skóla, aðsetri skóla eða starfsheiti er um tvítalningar að ræða þar sem sami einstaklingur getur haft fleiri en eitt starfsheiti og/eða starfað við flein en einn skóla. Sú breyting hefur verið gerð frá fyrra ári að yfirvinna er meðtalin og því getur stöðugildi verið hærra en 1,0. Lögheimili er miðað við 1.12 1999. Menntun miðast við hæstu gráðu sem starfsmaður hefur lokið. Gögn eru fengin frá skólunum og frá Rikisbókhaldi. Personnel in schools at tertiary level comprises all school employees in February 2000. When employees are counted by type ofschool, location ofschool or occupation, they can appear more than once since some are employed by more than one institution or have more than one occupation. A changefrom the previous year is that overtime work is included, thusfull- time equivalents can be greater than 1,0. Education refers to the highest level of education attained.
