The secret and postcommunion are printed only in the Translation Mass
but are cross-referenced in the Passion Mass with the rubric Sec(reta) et
comp(lenda) ponuntur sub alia collecta in transla(tione) eiusd(em): this
rubric recurs in the Missale Lundense, cf. section 4.1.5 below.
4.1.5. The Missale Lundense (LN 181) appeared at Paris in 1514 under
the supervision of Christiem Pedersen (ca. 1480-1544), the canon of
Lund best known for his edition of Saxo Grammaticus that was pub-
lished the same year.65 It contains Masses for both feasts, the Passion at
[367] and the Translation at [397] of the Sanctorale. There are several
correspondences with MH, but also many apparent innovations (K]
Missale Lundense):

tained through the good offices of Archbishop Birger Gunnersen of Lund (ca. 1445-1519);
the archbishop likewise sponsored not only the Lund missal but also the Lund breviary,
which came out a few years later when Pedersen was no longer in Paris (see section 4.2.5
below). - The missal has been republished in Bengt Stromberg (ed.), Missale Lundense av
år 1514. Faksimiledition (Laurentius Petri Sallskapets urkundsserie 4), Malmo 1946; re-
ferences here are to the notional page numbers assigned in Stromberg’s index.
